What does your drawing say about YOU?

The thing on the left is a tree. The thing in the midde is a car. The thing on the right is a mountain. I use a trigger mouse...way more difficult than "drawing" with a regular mouse. :-)

Rollercoaster Memorial Day 2007

-----It rained severely & the heat after was unbearable...so we postponed the cemeteries we usually visit (due to terrain/getting sick from the heat).
-----We decided to see Shrek the Third...but the theatre was full.
-----We tried to go to the hardware store, a mall and a hobby store...but they all closed before we got there.
------We decided to watch a movie....but it was awful & we turned it off in the middle.
-----My husband tried making a Cajun popcorn recipe...but it upset his stomach.
-----We went to get milk at the store...and decided to drop it off to go out for a late dinner.
------We enjoyed our dinners until the drunk people started threatening each other
others' lives over some silly statement one had made...then saying they were kidding, that it was hypothetical & then renewing the threat & insisting that the hypothetical target admit that he could do such if he was so inclined....repeat pattern again & again until we decided to leave. Each of these people seemed really confused about what they were saying but was trying to have the sort of intellectual conversation that people have over coffee. And the intended method???...."I know where you live"...I kid you not- The main substance of this conversation was "But you have to admit...I know where you live"....over & over. The person who appeared to be the designated driver said nothing.
-----And finally...just now we realized that we missed "Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed."

Well....life is a rollercoaster of flops like that sometimes....ALMOST comical.
(Except for missing the Star Wars documentary yesterday....that's tragic).

-----Played Clone Wars on the XBox until my fingers were tired this morning. I am a Padawan & I haven't succeeded in infiltrating The Arena yet. Mace Windu makes a funny sound when he dies.

Speaking of sawing, it is Memorial Day & someone is sawing non-stop very close by which is driving me crazy. Correct that...apparently it is a clipper. Ah...finally, silence. I was wondering if it was a tornado warning for a bit given how long it was going on.

I now have 113 Votes in the Blog For a Year Contest

Thank you to each & every person who has voted for me....and you can vote daily. I am not winning but I am still trying. The opportunity to be a paid writer on a full-time basis would mean a lot to me.

Unconcious Mutterrings for this week....what I think on Sunday

  1. Dancer :: Dance Magazine. I want to take ballroom dancing lessons. I wish that I knew more about dancing. I have Dance Dance Revolution but haven't played it yet.

  2. Intellectual :: It upsets me that there are people in this world who don't value intelligence-I have actually had people tell me that having an education is a waste.

  3. Direct :: So much harm from gossip could be avoided if people went directly to the person who can tell them what actually occured with whatever event...if it's even important.

  4. Tolerate :: There are some things that I tolerate that I shouldn't...like not being as happy as I would like to be in job choice. I want to stay home & write right now.

  5. Post :: I sure do post a lot sometimes.

  6. Instinctive:: Following your instincts is good (as long as you have moral instincts).

  7. Brink :: Sometimes I think that we are on the brink of Armageddon.

  8. Regain :: I would like to regain some self-worth and lose the gain that I have gotten due to thyroid issues.

  9. Repulsed :: I am repulsed by people who are unfair.

  10. Distressed :: I would like to worry/get anxious less. A damsel in distress...how beautiful Rapunzel's hair would be.

To the tabloids that are writing about Tammy Faye

The last I read there was nothing more that doctors could do to help Tammy Faye with battling cancer. I was outraged yesterday to see that a tabloid had already posted "last photos" of her...I went home & found that she most assuredly is not dead yet. Think of how Tammy Faye/family/friends must feel if they come across stuff like this.

A great doctor in the making

Kellie Lim, a triple amputee, is graduating from UCLA and plans to be a pediatrician. I think that she will make an excellent pediatrician...as Kellie said, the pain that she has gone through will help her have empathy in her intended specialty (part of which isinfectious diseases). I am impressed by all that Kellie has learned to do with so few limbs & also worried that her skin ulcers may cause her medical complications.

Troop Withdrawal?

President Bush may be considering a troop decrease in Iraq. What do you think...is troop withdrawal a realistic possibility for 2008???

I do believe that we are over there to help. It is a Catch 22 in so many ways...our leaving or staying can both worsen the situation for the Iraqi people and for the American people.

I am glad that the Iraqi military is admitting that they are not ready to be on their own. I wish that we would hear more about the Iraqi government's plans to bring peace to their land.

Subject: Help stop summer gas price gouging

Hi,

Can you face another summer where a day trip to the lake or the beach costs you an arm and a leg? It's shaping up to be just that if we don't ask Congress to stand up to Big Oil now.

But there is a bill in the House this week that could make gas price gouging a federal crime, so we don't pay more while the oil companies rake in record profits. I signed a petition to urge my representative to pass this bill this week -- can you join me at the link below?

Define Abstinence Education

Mitt Romney has said that he would like there to be Abstinence Education. I would like this clarified a little more....will this be as loosely regulated as "Sex Education?" Will the parents be involved in this process? What agencies will be in charge of developing the programs? Will there be abstinence education for adults as well & what precautions will be taken to make sure that we are not getting to the point where we look down on having children (or try to regulate the amount of children a couple can have)? Does anyone expect an outcry against the proposed Abstinence Education?

Thank you to all who have voted for me...and you can vote daily. I am now at 105 votes.

Mitt Romney & Conservative Leadership

I am watching this video further tonight. From the video I have gathered that Mitt Romney:
-supports 2nd Ammendment Rights...but supports an assualt weapon ban
-supports non-discrimination against gay people...but stands up for traditional marriage
-might be pro-life
-wants English taught in schools
-is for Abstinence Education
-supports the Death Penalty

I like that he admits that he had to make some hard decisions that were for the good of the people in his state....some of these are not pleasant issues to deal with. I am still wondering where Mitt Romney stands on death penalty reforms.

Unconcious Mutterings for this week-What I Think on Monday

A meme by LunaNina.

I say ... and you think ... ?

1. Coastguard ::
-brave people that I am thankful for
-I wish that they had found Jim Gray....a tribute to Jim Gray
-The Coast Guard patiently helps whales that have gone into the wrong waters get back to sea...I have been following the story of this mother & baby whale as they are slowly rescued.
2. Buddies :: I wish I had more....being a tomboy has its drawbacks when it comes to finding friends who are female.

3. Nap :: I have a new Tinkerbelle pillow. I will be sad when it is an old Tinkerbelle pillow that has to be replaced.

4. Groan :: Oscar the Grouch

5. Sitcom :: Sitcoms make you groan sometimes. I like the theme song from "The Jeffersons" (and the remake by Nelly).

6. Reader :: I wish I could be a more avid reader. I like bookmarks a lot. :-)

7. Heroes :: A show that I love-I am always in suspense. James Kim is one of my heroes.

8. Amazing :: Spiderman, of course.

9. Woman :: Sometimes I am proud to be one. :-) Breast cancer. :-(

10. Don’t! :: Please, don't forget or choose not to use your turn signal. Don't drive drunk....that has been one of my nagging worries lately & I was glad to see a road sign urging people to report drunk drivers to 911. Do people use their turn signals where you live?

Ron Paul

Ron Paul would like the U.S. to pull out of South Korea.

Mr. Paul would also like to see Korea reunified. I would like to see this too...if the new country did not echo the recent alarming behavior of North Korea.

Ron Paul is "languishing in the polls." Perhaps this is due to the fact that he said that we invited September 11th because of U.S. military involvement in the Middle East. While I don't think "invited" would be the correct word...any time one region goes into military conflict with another there is antagonism that will be acted upon should the opportunity present itself.

Unconcious Mutterings for this week-What I Think on Sunday

I haven't done this meme by LunaNina in a long time.

I say ... and you think ... ?

1. Coastguard :: brave people that I am thankful for,I wish that they had found Jim Gray.

2. Buddies :: I wish I had more....being a tomboy has its drawbacks when it comes to finding friends who are girls.

3. Nap :: I have a new Tinkerbelle pillow. I am starting to get sleepy.

4. Groan :: Oscar the Grouch

5. Sitcom :: Sitcoms make you groan sometimes.

6. Reader :: I wish I could be a more avid reader. My unconcious mutterings are depressing me this evening....maybe I should read some jokes later.

7. Heroes :: A show that I love.

Conservative Leadership

I agree with a lot of this...but I will not agree with the death penalty part without some reforms.

I think that there is way too much room for error with the death penalty....though I do agree that it has to be used to protect innocent people from being hunted down by ruthless killers, I disagree with how guilt is determined sometimes. I think that we should do much more to determine guilt or innocence before instituting the death penalty.

Many who are given the death penalty have previous violent crimes...much more should be done with reform so that people do not get to whatever emotional level that allows them to kill.

I would like to know where Mitt stands on death penalty reforms.

Winners of the Republican Presidential Debate

According to columnist David Yepsen, there were several winners in the Republic debate in South Carolina on Tuesday.

-I agree with Yepsen that Mitt Romney turned in the best overall performance. After watching a YouTube video on Mr. Romney's immigration policy, I have decided that this is a candidate that I will be looking at more closely to get my vote. I do acknowledge though that Mitt's commentary had to take a lot of preparation....I would dare say that he is more poised than any president since early Ronald Reagan.

-Then let us consider Ron Paul. He was very vocal in his opposition of the war in Iraq. I am not sure that the Republican party would support Ron Paul even if they did alter their position on Iraq. I would like to see Mr. Paul continue to be active in politics even if he loses the election....while I may not agree with all his stances, I get the impression that he is trying to make a sincere change.

-Rudy Guiliani clearly scored points when he attacked Ron Paul on his stance that the United States is partially to blame for 9/11....there was much clapping when Rudy made outraged comment on this. As the Fox New people who were supervising the debate said discussion of this issue could have gone on for a long time & never gotten solved. I would have liked to see what the politicians had to say on this & not just what conspiracy theorists on the Internet say. I agree with Yepsen that Giuliani scored points on his behavior here....though, since he is from New York, it would have been very bad for him if he had allowed such a comment to go unchecked.
---Guiliani's abortion stance was discussed further...something that I would like to look at more closely. I am still confused as to exactly what he is advocating & what I think of it. Time to watch some Giuliani 2008 videos on YouTube I suppose. :-)

-If you did not watch the debate like I did, read the Huckabee one-liner mentioned in Yepsen's article....funny.

-McCain was one of the favored candidates going into the debate. As Yepsen, pointed out he seemed very much on the defensive. Until Mr. Yepsen pointed this out, I had a very bad opionion of McCain based on what I saw in the debate. I am reserving my opinion on McCain until I see him speak more on what he supports (in other situations than debates where he is being attacked on all sides by his opponents).

All the sort-of-king's men (and women)

Maybe in a really good government, we would get to vote for the President's advisers, too. It seems that there is always some scandal or other going on among people who have a grave responsibility (advising the president or advising those who advise the president).

And I put this one up to see what comments it would draw. :-)

So....21 days to a thrifty lifestyle??? That means it will become a habit??? :-)
Should there be infinite copyright? So, families would inherit the proceeds from books forever....this would require a very complex system to keep going....or perhaps such a thing would be very simple for each individual family to oversee.

My blog is finally worth more.....

My blog is worth $270,414.66.
How much is your blog worth?

I spoke too soon earlier today. My blog finally went up...by $6,774.48. I think it does have something to do with how many links you have or the authority of the people you link to...I just added a few more sites/blogs today.

Mitt Romney's Solution to Illegal Immigration

Mitt Romney talks about immigration.

My Questions:
---How should we secure our border?
---So, if there are identification cards required showing a vistor's right to work in the United States....will this actually discourage people from entering this country illegally? It sounds like a really good solution but I am just afraid that there is some wrinkle being overlooked that would make the immigration issue worse.

There is a horrible woodchuck slithering around in our yard gnawing at trees. I have named him/her "Osama." My hubby calls him/her Osama Bin Chewin'.

Will you be going to see Rambo 4?

-----Commentary on John Rambo (Rambo 4)....the last line especially made me laugh.

Shrek the Third

Much to my frustration I have not seen Shrek the Third yet. Yes, this comment was directed at someone in particular...who is sitting here as I complain & not taking me to see the movie yet.

Apparently, said person doesn't particularly wish to see Shrek The Third. One can pick up on this from the way said person says "The Third" in a mocking manner. It becomes much more obvious when he/she says "The first one was awesome, the second one sucked and the third one is probably going to suck even harder."

And yet we WILL be going to see this movie....at a matinee showing.

Did you see the movie & did you like it???

Eating Honey Bunches of Oats

I found a free sample of Honey Bunches of Oats via the Free Sample Forager blog. I have had this cereal before but never realized how good it was until today. I find it to be the perfect mix of crunch & sweetness.

From the box, I found that this cereal:
---is "honey roasted"
---has 10 grams of whole grain per serving
---contains no transfat
---has significant amounts of vitamins & minerals

The Honey Bunches of Oats website:

-I am entering their "Breakfast Block Party" sweepstakes. The contest can be entered daily until September 13th. I would find a Breakfast Block Party to be silly fun. A honeymoon picture of Princess Diana & Prince Charles is to be auctioned in June. I like this picture.
The Official Joe Cocker Site

I watched an interesting interview under the "Video" category for this site. The interview was for Joe Cocker's album "Hymn for My Soul." I like that this album was taped...so it was recorded live in the studio & not by computers.

And my blog is still worth the same

My blog is worth $263,640.18.
How much is your blog worth?

I haven't gone up in value for some time now.

I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that I seldom add to my blogroll anymore...I just don't find that many new blogs that I enjoy reading.

I would not sell my blog for this amount. I am very much attached to writing here. :-)
-----I now own a Queen "We Will Rock You" t-shirt that my husband suggested I buy. This is exciting news in my world as I love Queen.
-----Attempting to keep mulberry trees alive until they get bigger. So far, I have one but soon I will be given more. The one that I have is going through transplant shock. Tips anyone???
-----I learned how to make salsa last week....now I have a use for tomato seeds that I can't use in recipes. Essentially just boiling the ingredients down & putting them in jars in the refrigerator. :-)

Browsing the Brita website tonight. I didn't know that Brita has been around since 1966.

There headquarters in the U.S. is in Oakland (California). If I ever get out to Oakland, I will have to see if they have a tour.

I found the history fascinating. Brita is actually German in origin....production for the small business was started under a backyard pear tree. They are currently affiliated with Clorox Company....though I am not sure how this came about. Sears now sells refrigerators equipped with Brita equipment.

Congressional Food Stamp Challenge

3 Members of Congress are trying to live on a food stamp budget from May 15-21. This is $21.00 a week.

It is being blogged here & here. The first one is done by Tim Ryan...this is the blog that I would recommend as it actually tells what he is going through.

As for me...I am an expert shopper. I have lived very comfortably on this amount, or less, many times in my life. I am a rarity in society.

Apparently, piercing is an unacceptable way to enforce chastity in the United States.

A very odd case that I don't know what to think about. A mother is charged with child abuse for piercing her child's privates in an effort to keep her from having sexual relations with adults....like a modern day chastity belt.

I don't know the law's in Louisiana....but I think that a danger of infection & the fact that it was done with an un-licensed person would certainly be considered Child Endangerment.

The fact that it was against the child's will would probably eliminate the possibility of a licensed piercer. Doing a piercing against someone's will is likely some sort of crime.

The article did not say anything about the relationship that the mother & child had to each other. I feel sorry for the mother, who was trying to protect the child, and do think that some sort of visitation should be allowed if she ends up going to prison....if the daughter desires to visit.

Now....if it had been an actual chastity belt & against the daughters will, would that be considered abuse?

What do you think of the whole matter???

MySpace Removes Sex Offender Profiles

MySpace has removed and blocked the profiles of a few thousand sexual predators. I think that the probation & monitoring that sexual offenders are on should actually require any websites & computers they own to be registered in some way. I understand that in America we are concerned about privacy, but we are talking about the very lives of innocent children.

Note:
One reader has commented on the possible development of a sex offender colony....the first comment on this post is a very detailed look at how that would work.

Playing "The Last Stand" More & More Lately

The Last Stand: A free online game where you kill zombies.

I find it fun. There are very few controls to memorize-A,S,W,D,R and the Space Bar.

I have managed to survive through a good part of Day 3 with a regular mouse. I can through a good portion of Day 2 with the handheld on my laptop.

I found this game on Fark. I will be working on beating the game for a while....it has 20 levels.

Prince Harry will have to remain behind when his troops go to Iraq.

Prince Harry will not be going to Iraq. I think this is for the best as it will keep both him & his troops a little safer...there have just been too many threats to kill or kidnap him.

"The 22-year-old prince is a tank commander trained to lead a 12-man team in four armored reconnaissance vehicles."

I hope that something is found that will make Harry able to serve his country & remain safe at the same time.

Protecting Soldiers From Injury

The Army has opened an injury prevention lab in Kentucky. I think that when a person is expected to see combat injury prevention should be an ongoing part of their training. A minor injury can haunt a person for the rest of their life.

Adventures of a Wayward Thyroid

I have a thyroid problem & somehow or other I am finally losing the weight that it has caused me to put on. I guess that my medicine must actually be working now...or starting to. I take Synthroid....a synthetic thyroid hormone.

Hopefully this means that my doctors won't have to up the dose anymore...the other symptoms are lessening too. I am still getting the swelling that some people get though & that is concerning/uncomfortable....and seems to be getting more frequent though less severe.

You never want to have a thyroid problem. I have had Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (inflamed thyroid) and goiter...not a very fun list even to look at.

I am battling to keep my thyroid functioning as I don't want to depend on a pill to stay alive....which is what will happen if my thyroid glands have to be removed. Doctors are advising that I look at removing glands eventually due to the discomfort. When a patient opts to have their thyroid glands removed, they risk getting Lupus if the glands keep growing back.

The choking sensation from the inflamed thyroid (when the medicine is not working) is uncomfortable...but I have managed to have both lumps in my throat shrink significantly by following the doctor's advice & researching the problem myself.

Stay tuned for further Adventures of a Wayward Thyroid.

-----Relaxing today.
-----Roaming around on Free Sample Forager. I found a free sample of Fit Fruit & Vegetable Wash which I sent for. I don't know if I have ever used this one. I have used some fruit & vegetable wash & liked it very much. I also found the fruit & veggie wash helpful for removing things caked or baked on dishes...test a spot first.

Here Lies King Herod

King Herod's Tomb may have been found. Some very impressive pictures have been taken of the site.

Author Bruce Feiler has written a post about the significance of the find....he contends the discovery does not have as much importance as some people are attaching to it. (I enjoyed Bruce's book "Walking the Bible.")

Thursday Thirteen.... World Records
(as judged by the Guiness Book)

1. Largest collection of airplane sick bags.
Notice the gentleman's hat. I wonder what the statistics are on people actually having to use these things.

2. Heaviest Building Moved Intact

3. Largest Motorcycle Pyramid...don't even try a motorcycle pyramid.

4. Woman with the most piercings. Her old record was 462.

5. Smallest waist on a living person. She wears a lot of corsets. I should write to her because I like corsets & would love to know which she thinks are best. I hope that her corset-wearing hasn't caused any health problems-I have read articles that daily corset-wearing can.

6. Most Powerful Lungs. Yes, there is a way this is judged.

7. Most cockroaches eaten. Yes, I know I mentioned cockroaches in my Thirteen last week...maybe it will be a new tradition.

8. Most spoons balanced on the face

9. Highest Ranking Camel

10. Largest Stir Fry

11. Fastest Furniture (legally used for transport)

12. Largest simultaneous stretch...an attempt that is coming up.

13. What should you hold a world record for? What would you like to hold a record for?

I am following this story.

Summary:
Girl 1 Works at bar checking IDs
Girl 2 Presents fake ID which is confiscated
Girl 1 Posts fake ID she confiscated (from Girl 2) on Internet
Girl 2 Says this is copyright infringement
A Quaker wedding...neat.

Covers of "Numb"....not exactly an easy song to sing

Kris Moyse-Cover of "Numb" by Linkin Park

An acoustic cover from "TheUnbornBand"

This is from someone calling themselves "StolenOrder." It is my favorite take on this song. It is delivered calmly & confidently....and captures the sadness of the song.

There is a proper way to store coffee.

How to store coffee

I do not store coffee properly but I should start. Hubby has slept in today...I think I am going to go make him some coffee. When I get the proper containers, I will start storing my coffee collection properly.

NASA-Methane Rocket Test

Methane Rocket Test by NASA (there is a video)

"The main engine, built and fired by the NASA contractor team Alliant Techsystems/XCOR Aerospace, is still in an early stage of development and isn't ready for space. But if the technology proves itself, methane engines like this one could eventually be key to deep space exploration."

This would greatly reduce the cost of missions & I would imagine make it so they can be longer. If it could eventaully be developed into something manned, I imagine exploring space like Star Trek will be a reality.

I am happy to have seen this piece of history.

I don't exactly know what this means but I am interested in finding out.
-----Still haven't seen Spiderman 3 but tomorrow should be the day.
-----I advise you all to wear your house slippers....so much less dirt when you clean carpets. I am getting in the habit of the house slippers/socks & no shoes in the house.
-----I now like Secret Platinum Vanilla Sparkle Deodorant & their Violet scent from the same series. I am thinking of seeing what the two combined smell like on some day where I don't have to be around anyone important.
-----My Christmas Cactus loves living in the bathroom.
-----I have been busy sorting unneeded paper into scrap or shredding it. The shredded paper bits are going to be used to make my own paper.
-----I have encountered way too many little-brown-biting-spiders lately...a grand total of three in a week (no, not at my home). One of these spiders bit me in the forehead.

BlogCatalog is so much fun.

I have had a LOT of people visit my blog because of this & I have seen so many interesting blogs on topics that I wouldn't even have thought of. People are neat.

Up & Running in IE Again

---A blog that contains one post & that one post is "You Are a Moron."

I feel like a moron right this second as I found out after research, research and more research that what was causing my blog not to function correctly in Internet Explorer is that I was missing the end on one little division tag. True....the code was for an activity I was participating in and not mine. I guess I just feel frustrated that it took so much time to fix this.

To Make With Lipton

Apple Struesel Muffins (uses Cinnamon Apple Herbal Tea)
Banana Split Tea Shake
Peaches & Cream Dip (can also do strawberry)
Just stopped to say that I am here....pulled a yucky work shift & must be up early to do it all over again. Fun,fun, fun.

I have 82 votes right now. I am not winning by far but I am doing my best to become an even better blogger because of this contest. I appreciate all the votes that I have received. THANK YOU.
A joke: Thank God, You Don't Know Who I Am

Of Free Trees & Internet Annoyances

I was roaming around on Free Sample Forager & I found that DoubleTree is offering free tree seedlings to the first 10,000 respondents. I think that I made it into the first 10,000 & hope to be planting some trees in June (a gift to someone who is nice).

I am annoyed as somehow my archive has disappeared & I will have to put it back in later. Very annoying.

I was doing Google's Hindi transliteration to help them out...but parts of my blog were appearing in Hindi. I am no longer participating in this.

A New Year's Message Re-Visited

The costume is scary.
Rules About Beer & a review of "Chill" (a light beer brewed with lime & a little salt). The last sentence really made me laugh.

Bummers

Bummer: I managed to miss Free Comic Book Day this year. The only consolation is that I was helping someone out...and that is what caused me to miss it.

Further Bummer: I guess I am going to miss BlogHer in Chicago after all. It is better that I use the money to pay bills. At least I plan to cover the different topics virtually & keep encouraging people to go.
SpiderMan 3 Doesn't Suck. I am in the process of reading this post, so I am not sure if there are SPOILERS. I hope to go to this movie today. :-)
Macaroni & Cheese...it has broccoli, cauliflower and flaxseed in it. It looks yummy & I plan on trying it. :-)

Dino Find

"It is an unprecedented discovery. It is the first time in the world that a carnivorous dinosaur of the Middle Jurassic period has been found fully jointed."
And Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45-days in jail. I figured that this would probably happen.
-----Use of certain words together banned by the European Union....for instance you can not describe it as "Islamic Terrorism." I agree with them on this when it is propogating hate against individuals that are not involved. I think that we all need to choose what we say carefully....or we may just be contributing to the problem.

Low-Fat Guacamole

6. So what have you done to save money lately?

7. Non-toxic spring cleaning

8. How Much is a Mother's Work Worth? A lot.

9.

10. I am against abortion...to be quiet honest. But the case that I have started reading about is just so sad....a 17-year-old has been ordered to have a baby who will live three days at most. Whatever your beliefs are on this issue, I encourage you to keep this young lady in your thoughts/prayers.

11. A toad was found crawling DEEP in Loch Ness.

12. People in pop culture who became famous (or more famous) after their death.

13. Scientists are trying to create a suit that would let people (like firefighters) climb walls like SpiderMan.
Yes, I am planning to go see SpiderMan sometime this weekend. :-)

Mike Gravel

Alaska Senator Mike Gravel (I believe it is pronounced "gruh-vel") wants to be the Democratic Nominee for President. I have never heard of him before.

Gravel is talking about something called the National Initiative for Democracy. The Initiative would enable everyday people to make laws at the federal level...government by the people.

-----Listening to Queen's "Too Much Love Will Kill You"...I don't think that I have ever heard this before. I am a big Queen fan. :-)
-----Last week I had Mongolian Chicken. This is not something I would recommend. The oilyness of the beef version is good....but the chicken is strange & I came close to choking a few times.
