- ---If I feel strongly about something I post to Facebook, I will "like" my own status.
- ---I am a fan of CVS. All those little extra sales bring smiles into our lives (free candy canes, a Barnes & Noble card for my Mother at Christmas and a three dollar credit for my birthday are the things I can think of on top of my head). Super nice cashiers and they don't mind at all that pretty much everyone in their lines is couponing, etc.
- ---Christine Ha, the (astounding) blind chef on Master Chef USA, Season 3 makes me cry. I identify with her as I fear for my eyesight.
- ---I am afraid of acupuncture. The invent of laser acupuncture certainly did not make me any more at ease with ever trying it.
- ---I really, really enjoy listening to the birds chirping outside in the morning. I wish I knew more about how to identify the many birds that fly around our house.
- ---I believe in the Golden Rule and wish everyone else did. I do not like people that show no respect for others...especially when you have been only respectful and nice to them.
- ---I am a fan of the name "Sebastian." I have never met anyone who actually had this name.
- ---I think it would be great if a lot more cities had tours by double decker bus. I saw a photo of a wedding that took place on the top of a double decker bus...the bride looked so happy and like she was having so much fun.
- ---I have a Jackie Chan poster about not smoking. I wish more "hero" celebrities would do posters like this.
- ---I think baby dolphins are beautiful.
- ---I often capitalize words like "Mother and "Husband" for obvious reasons.

- ---I like finding flavors of candy cane that I haven't tried. Currently, I would really like to try huckleberry.
- ---Sometimes I feel that wars keep more people from dying. I wish alternatives were (peacefully) fought for. War is a sign of at least one irrational party.
- ---At least at home, I am really good at playing game shows like "Jeopardy," "Cash Cab," and "Wheel of Fortune."
- ---I have never seen an episode of "Mad Men" and I never watched a full episode of "Lost."

I noticed that the "Friends of Taylor" website (about the slain college student Taylor Behl) is no longer operational for this purpose. I am hoping that her family and loved ones are doing well. I also hope that rehabilitation/deep thinking is going on for the man found guilty and I truly hope the incident was some sort of accident.

A very important thing. The member blog that I have visited most recently is "Two Hot Mamas."
The Celebratory Society reminds me of a book that touches me deeply-"Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom. I read it as part of a personal identity class in college and it has been one of my favorite life lesson books ever since. I have reread it many times.

Not Forgotten....Zahra.
The remains of a 10-year-old girl from North Carolina named Zahra Clare Baker have been found. Her body was dismembered and spread over more than one location. I have read that it was also a possibility that Zahra was raped by two men at some point during whatever happened. The case is now (obviously) being treated as a homicide. A relative has said that Zahra died of natural causes and that the couple panicked (due to immigration status)and dismembered/disposed of Zahra. :-(

I don't really know much about water-related diseases...other than the obvious that having clean water prevents them. I need to find what I can do to help. For one thing, I can give Charity:Water items as gifts. I would personally like the Thermos Hydration Bottle and am planning to start setting aside for it.
By the way:
