Ad Hoc at Home.....

A recipe book full of home cooking and comfort foods. Of course, these are from Thomas Keller so some of them do have a lot of ingredients. A lot less complicated than Keller's other recipes. Teaches a lot of techniques from the professional kitchen that can be very helpful to the home cook. This book is on my Amazon Wish List....but in the meantime I am searching out what blogging and articles I can find for recipes.

---Chocolate Chip Cookies. I have not cooked with molasses sugar yet.

---Chicken Mar i Muntanya. Multi-layered. Somewhat like paella.

---Brined Pork Tenderloin. Includes instructions for curing lemons.
---Fig-Stuffed Roast Pork Loin
---Leek Bread Pudding
---Chicken Soup With Dumplings.Has quit a list of ingredients.
---Lentil and Sweet Potato Soup with Bacon and Cilantro
---Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. A recipe that I am very excited about.

Adapted some:
---Beef Stroganoff An explanation of what gray salt is.
---Crispy Braised Chicken Thighs With Olives, Lemon and Fennel. Recipe is adapted some.
---Sautéed Chicken Breasts With Tarragon. Madras curry powder is now on my "(I've) Never Cooked With List."
