Unconcious Mutterings.....

Humbled :: Humbled can be a good thing to be. Humbled can be a humiliating thing to be. And the last will be first....the Bible. "I am humbled." Hummel....the word just reminded me. Letting go of pride....I need to do that sometimes...the areas where I am stubborn because I am so afraid of something or other or so want to avoid something or other. Humble pie. I humbly accept.

Buns :: Kentucky Hot Browns...I want to find different recipes for Hot Browns. I saw Hot Browns demonstrated at a Taste of Home Cooking School Show. I have a lot of buns in the freezer from my wonderful birthday party that Husband threw for me last year. Hot Cross Buns....one a penny,two a penny....Hot Cross Buns...if you've no daughters, give them to your sons. Buns of Steel....the title reminds me of Superman in the steel part (I don't want readers to think it was the buns part). Bunny. Hot dog buns. Hamburger buns. Princess Leia's buns in her hair...and I did not react so well to Bea Arthur dressed up like her and singing in the Star War's Holiday Special. Honey buns...taste great. Cinnamon buns. Sticky buns. Having a "bun in the oven."

Snowstorm :: Being trapped in a snowstorm. The blizzards that I have been in....memorable experiences. Little House on the Prairie. Does Frosty the Snowman like snowstorms?

Sweetheart :: Valentine's. My Husband is my Sweetheart.

Punch:: Fruit Punch. Bacardi. I wanted to make Gorilla Punch for a while...I have yet to do it. I look for new punch recipes. I really like punch bowls and glasses...I look for sets at thrift shops but do not find any that I truly like.Punch & Judy. Punching bag. The Punch & Judy dolls in the "Wooden Heart" part of that Elvis movie. Punching balloons....I don't like their smell. When people are disappointed, they say they feel like they have been punched. Being "pleased as punch" when you are happy about something.

Glass :: Looking glass. Glass eye....the little boy in "The World According to Garp" and the woman in "Big Fish." Monogrammed drinking glasses. Martini glasses....I call this "Learning the Art of Shaken Not Stirred." Cut glass. I like the color of some glass from Poland. Champagne glass...the legend about them being based off Marie Antoinette's chest...I looked the legend up on Snopes and found out that it is a myth. When the sugar looks like spun glass on a cake. Through the Looking Glass. Cinderella's glass slipper and Snow White's Glass Coffin. Some people really did have glass coffins. Glass coffins break when they fall. Putting a message in a glass bottle. Building a model ship in a bottle. Wine bottle. Glass jugs.

Classical :: Classical music...is, of course, the first thing that comes to mind. Classical percussionist. Coca Cola classic.

Heels :: High heels. I wish that my legs did not swell from thyroid issues...I would so like to wear heels again sometimes. Well-shod woman. Kick up your heels and relax...I sometimes need to do this more or in a more concentrated manner...I need to think about this.

Husband :: I love him. My Husband is a sculptor. Husband is supremely over-educated and considers becoming more over-educated at times...I am a Life-Long-Student and this pleases me.
