RepairPal.....pay the best price for car repairs.

We have all been there....in ABSOLUTE need of a sudden car repair. If you have Internet access, it might help to quickly look at RepairPal.com. Unlike, the local auto dealership (or even some repair shops),RepairPal makes an effort to be accurate and un-biased...something I really appreciate. Car repair is so expensive....and with many cars repairs start to become part of the regular cycle.

Car repair estimates can be sent in a printable version to your computer...this might help in getting price matches. This might help in unfortunate situations where the only way to get a good price is to take a small road trip.

Auto repair shops can be searched by zip code and keyword. I wish though that more of the ratings info was filled in....perhaps, that will come with time. I was searching for small towns that I have been to and that might make the difference, too.

I like that the site has a reminder service...it is easy to forget oil changes and so on.

-----This is a service for the U.S. There has been great interest from Canada. RepairPal plans to cover Canada as soon as they can. Gathering all this info seems a daunting task....it will be interesting to watch as the site grows. :-) RepairPal is in Beta.
