-----SEE THE PRIZE I AM BRINGING.
LADIES of the blogosphere are invited to the party.
-I am also having a drawing for the GENTLEMEN afterwards...see the end of the post about the prize. :-)
Stay tuned to this blog for links to yummy food, great people and fabulous entertainment. :-)
Don't forget to hop over to the BIG party at 5 Minutes for Mom....sign up for TONS more prizes, get your blog noticed and meet GREAT people.
I attended last year (with about 900 other people). Let's see if we can beat the attendance this year!!!
832 people have shown up at the main party already!!!!! (Last time I checked.)
I really think we can beat that attendance record!!!!!
Of course, one just has to start the party with "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"
(Obtained from Cyndi's official website...cause I follow copyrights.) :-)
Decided to wait for another party to have Blue Man Group....the repainting might be a little expensive after the party....but we can play their videos. I especially enjoy the "The Current" (which was on one of the Terminator soundtracks).
Oh, and if you haven't met me around the Blogosphere:
I am Business Student who plans to open a Coffee Shop with a Hobby Store on the premises (who sometimes capitalizes whatever she feels is important). I love to cook (always trying to develop my own recipes). You can find me on Twitter...my newest passion...I am @bluestbutterfly, if you want to join my Twitter buds. Sometimes I can be found sitting around listening to music in Second Life. Usually, you will find me every day here....I talk a lot. :-)
Hungry yet??? Food from Peru and panini always LOOKS good to me,too.
Will you be the first guest brave enough to try the lampfrey soup???
Perhaps someone at the party really likes books??? I talk a lot at parties...so, here's this one.....ten dollars shipping is economical. Seriously...it is an interesting book/idea to fundraise. :-) I could not buy a $30,000 book at this point-in-time.
Other entertainment:
-----Cinderella's "You Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)"....yes, I know it's sort of a sad song....but I love it. :-)
-----What if George Bush came to sing??? What would you karaoke with George?

I have been singing that song all morning! Come check me out! I have hand painted gifts as GIVEAWAYS all week!
Great minds think alike. :-)
Headed over to your blog in tad, Hazel. Must go to restroom/eat something. :-)
So nice to meet you. I hope you get a great turn out.
Thanks, Becoming Me. I hope that, if you are having one, your party goes well. :-)
That video is too funny! Nice meeting you :)
Yes, Tonya. I have always liked Cindy...or are you talking about "Blue Man Group?" In any case, thanks for coming to my party.
I wish that I could taste everything on the Peruvian food list....just because I like tasting new things.
I will be coming to visit you in a moment. :-)
Hello...my mom unschooled me through all my 18 years. Learning by living life! Glad to meet another unschooler!
I am an un-schooler in the sense of not being a traditional student. I have affiliation with one school right now...but a lot of what I do to learn isn't the "normal" way. I learn in any way I find interesting...and that includes a lot of field trips.
When Husband and I have children, I REALLY want to un-school them.
Very happy to meet you Rain-Girl. :-)

Happy Blog Party!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Your "There's a Klingon on the scanner" cracked me up!
Hi from N Ireland. Lovely to "meet" you.
Have a lovely party :)
Yay! Blogger is back up!
I'm a BOOKWORM and love to read everything and anything I can get my hands on. I'm currently doing the bookmooch thing - it's a site to exchange books: bookmooch.com. My username is take2max, look for me!
I LOVE the Cyndi Lauper video! My goodness, that brings back memories as I was around to shake my booty when this song first came out. What a perfect video to post for the party!
It was great meeting you, enjoy the party!

Cherrye-
Happy Party...and International Womens' Day. That holiday is just starting to be celebrated here in the U.S.-mainly by floral shops. I am sure wherever you live (in Italy) is beautiful. :-)
Nice to have you, Jane. I stay up a little for things like this, too. Both blue and butterflies make me happy. :-)
I will be visiting your party soon.
Yep, you were my first and so far only visitor!! However, in all fairness, I just posted that about 10 minutes ago!!!! LOLOL
About the job...you are right, time to move on, but finding where to move on to is the struggle! Been praying about it and will continue to do so!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope that you get a few more visitors....it is fun making friends (even "virtual" friends). I find some of my Internet friends really care...it is nice to be able to find a kindred spirit somewhere out in the world.
I hope that the job situation gets better...however it is meant to. I am in the same situation....working a retail job that I despise.
I enjoyed visiting your blog. :-)
Thanks for the visit.
:-)-Momofmhasr.
I enjoyed the video you have! It's been forever since I have heard that song! Great party!!
Thanks, Becky. :-)
Ewww, seafood is not my thing, but this stuff looks really bad!
Anyway, nice to meet you :)
Gloria...I think the smell would be the deciding factor for me. Perhaps it is some of the older religious beliefs....a little....but I wash away all blood and eat little to no pork anyway.Blood in food=NO.Bloody eel-like slabs with suckers still visible=SUPER NO.
So far no guest has been brave enough to say,and mean, that they would eat the lampfrey. :-)
Thank you for stopping by to say thank you! It's been a great time putting it all together and well worth it. I hope that everyone is making lots of new friends out there in bloggy land. Good luck with the prize drawing. Just to add - I love The Blue Man Group! I had the opportunity to see them in New York 2 years ago and it was a blast! Good Luck with the coffee shop.
Hello! Your business plan sounds so wonderful ... If you build it in the western suburbs of Chicago, I will be there ALL the time LOL!
Thank you, Happy Panda. I hope to see Blue Man Group perform in person someday...I always say hope instead of will (sometimes I get sad disappointments like with John Denver or Jeff Healey.
My fave television performance of Blue Man Group was the one that they did on one of the talk show along with Robin Williams.
I always want to buy that Blue Man Group piano that is everywhere now...it used to be that we could only find it at Best Buy. My husband teased me for wanting it...it's a children's toy for the most part. It was funny when a male friend of ours started talking about how much he wanted it. Cool toy. :-)
Great post! Hope your enjoying the party! I’ve been meeting tons of new people! Hope to try to visit at least half of them before Friday! You never know when you may meet a forever friend. Pop by for a visit if you get a chance! Enjoy your day!
Thanks for visiting, Debz. I hope that you are enjoying the party. I love the flashing duck avatar. :-)
Stopping by during the party. Don't work too hard, unless you love what you are doing.
Have fun!
Terri-
I do work too hard....just my work ethic I guess. I need to work at something that I love....having a coffee shop eventually.
Thank you for caring.
