I don't understand. If we get rid of the IRS and tax forms...will there be something to replace them? How will the things needed to run this country be funded? Donations? What is Huckabee saying is the solution?

I still have no idea whom I am voting for as President.

Yes...it is a long way away. I do want to vote for the right person though....whomever is closest to my ideal of fixing the things that are wrong with this country. I haven't lost any sleep over them though....just so wondering whom I am going to vote for. Everyday it seems someone drops out...making my selection a lot smaller. Thank you for visiting.

It's those that are not sure who to vote for the candidates are after most.

Michele sent me here.

:-) Thanks for visiting, Jean-Luc. Wise observation.

Huckabee wants to replace the income tax with a national sales tax.

Rich people tend to favor the idea, poor people tend not to. Can you guess why? ;)

Ah...Husband guessed that it might be a national sales tax that he was referring to. I don't want such a thing necessarily either....I don't know. I guess it would almost be the fairest solution. Then again, poor people might not ever be able to afford big ticket items....like houses.

:-)
