great list! I never thought about it this way, but my coffee cup magnet recycles both the cup *and* the magnet -- that was my post yesterday and a few days ago (ok last friday) come on over and check it out! happy TT, mine's up!
Terrific Thursday Thirteen!
My TT is posted.
Have a wonderful day!
Happy TT'ing!

What a great idea for a list. I'll have to give it some thought. I couldn't possibly choose a favorite cookbook though. I collect them and have way too many to decide on just one.
Happy TT, and thanks for visiting my blog.
I've smiled, today. I even laughed.
:-)
Happy TT!
Oh, how fun! I tried a new recipe just last week -- a sautee'd chicken one that absolutely rocked. It had a lime-buttermilk-spice marinade everyone in the family liked -- which, believe me, is a major accomplishment. Had sweet potato "chips", too.
Thanks for visiting my TT! Enjoy your day!

Admin: 2 people voted for me in the Blog For a Year activity this morning or last night. THANK YOU!!!
Adwina...what a pretty name.
I have always thought that Uisce was a pretty name, too.
:-)
your layout is a little screwy, but those are good list thingers. :)
I tried working with Blogging for a Year logo but I just could not get it to left align.
What a great T13. I would also have a hard time picking just one favorite cookbook. I have FAR too many considering I don't cook as much as I once did.
Thanks for coming by my T13.
I enjoy reading interactive lists. This week we tried two new recipes. :o)

No one has tried to answer Number 1 yet...what is an interesting thing in one of your wastebaskets. I am headed over one of my wastebaskets right now to look. :-)
Nothing is interesting in our wastebaskets, unless dental floss counts. Seriously, I still go to my Joy of Cooking book for the basics. umm, a new recipe....I am very boring, but I did make a mexican calzone.
Thanks for stopping by!
Mexican calzone...sounds wonderful. I forgot to go look in my wastebasket.
Ok...at the top of the kitchen wastebasket there are two lightbulbs, some Snicker Easter Minis wrappers and an empty nutrition drink container.
Well, I feel bad now. I haven't cooked anything original this year...or last year...it's been a LONG time! Guess that's life as a bachelor, cooking for one.
Great TT...glad to see you're still keeping up! Mine is up!
#2 - eeeeeuuuuwww! It was just last week, my husband pulled out a tupperware that contained scallops from at least three weeks ago. I told him to throw it away container and all.
#4 - I must know my neighbors. Neighborhood is important to my happiness...which is why I lived in one house here in Boca for 6 months and then moved. My husband travels and I like knowing I have several people I can call if there's an emergency and people who know they can just come over and knock on our door to see if one of the kids wants to play.
#5 - How to Cook Everything by Mark Bittman
I'm bookmarking you and coming back...in your hobby shop/coffee shop, would you have a huge table in the center with a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle always in process so one could sip coffee while browsing for pieces to fit? That sounds delightful!
I'll do #1: torn up construction paper and a doll head with one eye missing (OK - the paper is on top now, the doll head was a few weeks ago but it may be the strangest thing I have ever seen in there!)
Fun list! By the way, I was planning a TT on 13 Things I Have Found In My Fridge, but could be scary (we must think alike!). Thanks for stopping by my TT.
Di-I love your coffee shop puzzle idea!
I just voted for you. Good luck!
Thanks for visiting my handbag TT.
Thank you Tink. I love visiting all the Thirteens. The inside of peoples' purses are interesting. :-)
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR VOTE and for the wishes of luck. I appreciate it. :-)
