-----Speed TV has a show called "American Muscle Car." They have highlights of this show up on the program list that I just linked to. I think the Shelby 427 Cobra show will be interesting.
-----How did Pontiac come to be regarded as a fast car????....it used to be considered a car for older people actually. The answer to how Pontiac increased its speed started with the Superduty cars.
- A video about the "Superduty" cars (which came out in the 1950s)...the start of Pontiac's been regarded as a faster car. It is a clip of a program that was on SpeedTV...I liked seeing the cars & old advertisements. What an interesting history Pontiac has had.

-----Other than the Cobra...no one in the United States makes muscle cars anymore. Once-in-a-while someone does a little something but there is no more constant manufacturing. :-(
