1. My husband's favorite submarine sandwich order....an aid to my memory. 2. A really good Oprah magazine offer...I am going to subscribe sooner or later. 3. Post-It note with when I should change toothbrushes. 4. Picture of Penelope Cruz....she has such a neat, expressive face. 5. Notes on Maya...an animation program that I am SLOWLY learning. For those that don't know what this is, think something like Pixar. 6. Various phrases that I am into right now cut out of magazines ("save money", for instance). 7. Directions as to how to operate my blog should anything ever happen to me. When I meet my demise someday, I would like the blogosphere to know what happened. 8. My student number for college...another thing I don't remember without the piece of paper. 9. Tons of tacks hung in a Ziploc bag ....I like having the option of putting more stuff on a bulletin board than anyone has ever seen. 10. Smiley faces doodled on things. 11. A picture of a dress that I like by a designer called Miguelina. The dress costs $396.00. Its color is "nude" but I would call it beige or champagne. It is fairly simple & sooner or later I will have something similar made for me. 12. Usually there are recipes that I am going to make but I haven't gotten too passionately interested in any as of late. I am going to make a bunch of apple crisps this fall though....yummy and excellent comfort food. 13. I may start painting on the bulletin board...why not???? |

I actually tack up post-it notes...I hate when they lose their stick. When I run out of post-it notes, I will go back to cutting up pieces of paper. I will likely not buy post-it notes again. When you put post-it notes in a book, they eventually leave a mark or yellow the pages.

I thought of Number 7 because people disappear from the blogosphere & the world all the time....like they were never even there. I find that is especially true when I am researching genealogy. I don't want to just disappear as my blog has been an important part of my life over the past year or so. I keep a backup copy that I update every once in a while on my computer too. For my loved ones, I think it will be a nice momento of the things I care about.

I have a few bulletin boards in my house. This one happens to be for use with my computer desk. Anything that I either need to use while on the computer or that makes me happy to see while sitting at the computer goes on it.
I didn't really think about the Ziploc bag being an idea that someone might not have thought about. I am just practical at times. My Ziploc bags are usually decorative & my tacks are often colorful.
I usually buy tacks at discount stores or on clearance.
I am having an okay Thursday. Yesterday was better...romantic steak dinner cooked by my husband.
